Today’s workout was the perfect tuneup for before county’s on Saturday. Since I mostly race the 3200m my workout was different from that of the 800m and 1600m runners. The workout was 10x400m at pretty much race pace. It was a fast pace, but it was exactly what I needed.

I’m so excited for the county meet on Saturday. Fingers crossed that the weather doesn’t postpone it to next week.

The Boston Marathon is supposed to be a showcase of human achievement; one where people who have trained for countless hours and miles through the rain, wind, and snow get the chance to put their passion on the line and run for the thrill, the high, and most of all for the love of running. It sickens me that someone would target the city of Boston and all those who participated and were spectators of the marathon. My thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by this tragedy <3

I was only allowed to run a max of 4 miles, but it’s a start. It felt good to be running again. Only problem was I ran a tad bit faster than I should’ve. Oh well, what can I say I was eager haha

Ahhhh that is still yet to be determined. I hear back from my last school tomorrow and then I’ll be able to make my decision. As of right now it looks like I’ll be choosing between Gettysburg and Muhlenberg.
